"Giving a voice to those who don't have one"
Together with the Notpfote Animal Rescue association, we have been building an animal bridge in western Ukraine for 1.5 years. A shelter for 300 vulnerable animals that we evacuate from the contested area of the country.
The construction of our animal shelter started in February 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
The war in Ukraine makes construction difficult, as raw materials and Ukrainian workers are scarce, but so far we have managed to build 50 kennels for dogs, a cat house with indoor and outdoor areas, quarantine houses for dogs & cats, a storage barn, and a run area for the animals.
All of this is in line with European standards and makes us very happy.
None of this would have been possible without our community.
Our project has been entirely funded by donations, so we always rely on support to maintain the shelter.
